I can't remember which of Annie Brewer's books was my first one, but now I want to read all her books.What I like about this book is that it helped me to have a different perspective about the hard times that I have been through.
Instead of feeling sorry for myself, Annie shows me that there are major benefits to living simply and frugally, and that it is even a practical choice.
In fact, she showed me that my current situation is not so bad at all...I'm living pretty well, actually.
I have more money than I thought I did, and can cut more corners than I thought I could.
I have actually started implementing some of her suggestions in regard to house cleaning...I don't have the The Minimalist Cleaning Method yet, but in this book she does give a few tips.
What she really taught me the most is that the faster one can lower their monthly overhead, the faster one can be financially independent. Now that is a hot button for me.

Annie Shows You Can Live A Very Nice And Full Life Without All The Junk You See In s And On Tv And Teach You Kids How Do It Too.
Annie Jean Brewer has been a favorite author mine since reading one of her other e-books, "the Minimalist Cleaning Method". Her brand of minimalism is practical. Even if you are not on a shoestring, this ebook is real about minimalism.
This was a real disappointment. Seems to be written mostly for the author to make a living. Nothing of real value in terms of new information and strategies other than to live on the floor in one little room.
Loved it a lot. It gave specific ways to save that I didn't even think of. Of course, it is probably common sense for some folks to re-use stuff. But, she gives specific examples of how to re-use stuff that is around your house.
Very informative book. Some of the items I have utilized and continue to practice in retirement. I thrift store shop and resale on eBay. I would recommend this book to any young or old person starting out or over.
Perfect book for anyone who is starting out in life. I plan to give a copy to anyone I know who is graduating from high school or college. It willl give them a great start in life with practical information and insiration. lSure wish I had this book when I started out. Also great for anyone who is starting over. I have shared this with a frined who is going through a divorce and she found it very helpful.
